Monica is a professionally trained olive oil expert with a deep passion for the world of extra virgin olive oil. Her expertise spans from its rich history and diverse varietals to its chemical properties and production methods. She is skilled in identifying organoleptic differences, assessing quality, and recognizing defects to ensure purity and excellence in every bottle.

Monica’s formal training took place in Tuscany, under the guidance of university professors, senior members of ASCOE (Italian Association of Tasters and Cultivators of Extra Virgin Olive Oil), and industry specialists. She completed an intensive program organized by the North West Chamber of Commerce of Tuscany in Pisa and Livorno, earning the prestigious Attestazione di Idoneità Fisiologica all’Assaggio di Olio di Oliva Extra Vergine — Italy’s official certification for professional olive oil tasting.
